As cord cutters we currently use our AppleTV 4K to consume all media content. For years, we have been using every generation of AppleTV as well as other devices to try and replace cable TV. The current models are very good but the missing part was Amazon Prime. On December 6th, the app finally arrived on the AppleTV.
In Canada, we still are behind the US in terms of streaming services though it has gotten better in recent years. Amazon Prime reminds me of when Netflix arrived in Canada. Some good stuff to watch but not enough was everyone’s reason not to pay. I’ve been a Netflix subscriber since day one and the service has grown dramatically. I’m hoping the same will be true one day for Amazon Prime.
In a future post I will write about our experience and setup as cord cutters.
